A History of Educational Excellence

Our parent school, Ashworth College, was founded in 1987. Ashworth has evolved to become a leading provider of online career training, degree and certification-prep programs. James Madison High School (JMHS) was established in 1996 to fulfill the need for a comprehensive, quality high school for distance learners.

Our online high school education programs are designed to prepare students to attain their personal and professional goals. In fact, JMHS graduates can easily enroll in an Ashworth College degree program to continue their online education.

Regionally and Nationally Accredited

Regional and national accreditation mean that we meet high educational standards. James Madison High School is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI), an accreditation division of AdvancED. JMHS is also accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC).

SACS CASI accreditation is recognized by other educational institutions and is an important factor in your future plans.
