One of the best parts about high school homeschooling is that you will have a lot more flexibility when it comes to setting your schedule. However, to the best of your ability, you should set a study schedule, and you should try to stick to it. If you say you’re going to read for an hour before you go to sleep, do your best to do so. Maintaining a routine can make it easier for you to meet your study goals.

Let’s say you’re reading a chapter from your history text book. Now, get out a pen and paper, and write down the key dates, names, and definitions. Simply writing these things out will help you retain information. You don’t have to write everything out, and you don’t have to write definitions out word for word. Just make sure you get to the meat.
