General High School Diploma + Veterinary Assistant Career Pathways Certificate
The Penn Foster High School Diploma with Veterinary Assistant Career Pathways track offers the standard accredited high school education combined with introductory courses in veterinary assisting. Instead of choosing from general electives, your five elective courses will cover veterinary healthcare, legal and ethical issues, office administration and communications, client relationships, veterinary procedures, terminology, pharmacology, animal behavior, and more. In the same amount of class time required to earn a general high school diploma, you’ll earn your high school diploma in addition to a Career Pathways Certificate in Veterinary Assisting.
