What does it Mean to be an Accredited Online School?

Being Accredited means that your organization is recognized and certified as a legitimate and authentic entity. James Madison High School is nationally accredited, this means that our high school program and by extension our curriculum has undergone an extensive review by outside organizations such as the DEAC or Cognia to become Accredited. Earning accreditation isn’t a one-time deal for any school. In fact, all schools have to renew their accreditation after a few years, proving that the high school courses and materials being taught are up to date. In the past Colleges and the Military have recognized James Madison High School Diplomas and many of our graduate learners have gone on to pursue higher education. However, no form of accreditation can guarantee that any learning institution or employer will accept the high school diploma. We recommend checking with colleges and universities you are interested in attending to verify they accept the James Madison High School diploma before enrolling in the program.
